There are more than 300 hectares of snow fields and slopes, providing plenty of opportunities to explore the different sides of the mountain and the 25 different lifts that range from gentle and easy to a spectacular double black diamond chute.

But even for non-skiers, Mount Buller is a haven of activity. There are plenty of sights to take in, including breath-taking views across the surrounding landscape in Victoria. Elsewhere, you can try your hand at tobogganing or simply taking a wander around the quaint village to see what it has to offer.

On the way to Mount Buller, we’ll take you through the sprawling fields of the Yarra Valley and to the high country, where you’ll have the chance to soak up the incredible views of the mountains and the surrounding snowy scenery. We’ll stop off at Mansfield, which is also known as the gateway to the alpine region. While there, you can hire all the equipment and clothing you need for the rest of your trip in one of the many stores dotted around town.

Once we get to Mount Buller, you’ll have hours and hours of free time to play in the snow and try your hand at whichever winter sport takes your fancy.
