OVERVIEW OF THE TOUR
Hunter Valley is one of Australia’s proudest winery regions, attracting wine lovers and foodies from all over the world. The Hunter Harvest Wine Experience offers breathtaking views of a variety of plantations including Shiraz, Chardonnay, Semillon and Cabernet Sauvignon. Sample some of the famous wines of the region as we stop at several wineries, and enjoy a delicious lunch at the Roche Estate.
Tintilla Wines is the first stop on our Hunter Valley Day Tour. This family-owned winery draws on international inspiration while harnessing the Hunter Valley terroir, to produce top wines unique to the area. Try their single vineyard wines to taste the effects that regional differences can have on the wine style.
We enjoy a delicious lunch at Roche Estate, located in the very centre of the Hunter Valley. On offer are several dining experiences to choose from; a casual lunch at Goldfish Bar, elegant dining at Oishii Restaurant or a picnic hamper from the Smelly Cheese Shop. You'll also have plenty of free time to explore the cellar doors and shops offering local goodies including cheese, coffee, ice cream and craft beers (own expense). Or sit back and appreciate the stunning views with a glass of wine!
Our third stop is Brokenwood Wines where you will be treated to another selection of premium wine tastings. We return to Sydney in the evening full of delicious food and wine from the Hunter Valley Wine Tour.
