OVERVIEW OF THE TOUR
Spend the day exploring Melbourne’s playground – the Mornington Peninsula. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the best the region has to offer, including sampling the incredible local produce, relaxing at the hot springs and soaking up the views from the Arthurs Seat Eagle Gondola.
The day starts heading out from Melbourne and straight to the Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs. These award-winning natural mineral springs offer a range of experiences to relax and rejuvenate in the blissfully tranquil setting. You can soak in the naturally heated waters of Hill Top Pool, unwind in the Turkish steam room, feel invigorated by the reflexology walk and enjoy many more incredible experiences on offer. We spend two to three hours here, so there is plenty of time for you to savour the serenity.
Once you feel totally relaxed and refreshed, we head to a local farmgate for lunch and a wine tasting. Enjoy the views over the vineyards as you tuck into a delicious tapas lunch, then sample the local wines. Be sure to try the chardonnay and pinot noir the region is famed for.
In the afternoon we head to the Arthurs Seat Eagle Gondola to take in the sweeping views of Port Phillip Bay as we glide over the trees below. Next up is more local produce with an exclusive chocolate tasting at the Mornington Peninsula Chocolaterie. The family-owned chocolate factory produces some of the finest European style chocolates and you can watch the chocolatiers at work as you sample their delicious creations. The final stop before the return to Melbourne is the Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm. Pick your own strawberries for a final taste of the Mornington Peninsula – it doesn’t get fresher than that!
