1 Day Atherton Tablelands From Cairns Tour

Join us on this 1 Day Atherton Tablelands Tour for a day of action-packed exploration of rainforest, volcanic crater lakes and swimming at the striking waterfalls of the exotic tropical tablelands. This tour departs from Cairns in the morning, heading straight to explore the Atherton Tablelands. Your fun and engaging guide has the flexibility to set the itinerary for the day so they can make the most of the weather and conditions to bring you the best tour possible. Top of the list of waterfall destinations is Josephine Falls to relax on the sandy beaches or enjoy the unique natural rock slide. We also make a stop at the iconic Millaa Millaa Falls. Here you can enjoy a nice, refreshing swim and get some of those iconic hair flick photos! Some of the other waterfalls we often stop at include Nandroya, Ellinjaa, Dinner and Zillie Falls. Make sure you bring your bathers!

Continuing our Atherton Tablelands and Waterfalls Tour, we stop to marvel at one of the biggest trees known in Queensland - The Curtain Fig Tree. This tree is unique because of the extensive aerial roots that create a ‘curtain’!

You'll take in the beautiful scenery from spectacular vantage points as we stop at some of the best lookout spots. And don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for those elusive Australian animals, the tree kangaroo, cassowary and platypus.

We stop for a delicious picnic lunch and spend some time swimming at Lake Eacham. This is an extinct volcano crater that has filled up with rainwater over the years. It's one of the best swimming spots in Queensland! Float on this serene, peaceful lake and soak up the lush rainforest surrounding it. After a an action-packed day, we'll make our way back to Cairns.
