OVERVIEW OF THE TOUR
What better way to explore the picturesque serenity of Kangaroo Island, than by joining our Kangaroo Island Day Tour from Adelaide. Kangaroo Island is composed of sandy beaches surrounded by clear blue waters, stunning greenery and forests and charming rural scenery. Kangaroo Island is home to hundreds of Australian native species such as wallabies, kangaroos, echidnas and cuddly koalas.
As well as discovering native wildlife on land, our 1-Day Kangaroo Island Tour gives travellers the chance to interact with sea life such as cute seals, local seabirds and various other marine life species.
Our Kangaroo Island Day Tour begins with a sea voyage to Kangaroo Island, passing through the stunning scenery of the Fleurieu Peninsula, prior to heading out to Cape Jervis. Take in the crystal-clear waters and white sands of Penneshaw as we approach Kangaroo Island.
With our sea voyage concluded, we head to Seal Bay where we will have the opportunity to walk amongst the local resident seals as they laze on the beach. We meet with a local ranger for a guided tour of Seal Bay, home to more than 500 Australian Sea Lions. Take the opportunity to capture treasured memories on camera, which will last a lifetime!
Following the morning's activities, join us as we feast on a 2-course lunch. After lunch, get ready to meet some of Australia's most iconic residents at the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park. The park is home to over 150 species of native Aussie animals, and you will have the opportunity to feed kangaroos, learn more with a keeper talk or get your photo taken holding a koala! (Koala photos at your own expense).
Our Kangaroo Island Day Tour continues onwards to Flinders Chase National Park. The national park is recovering well following the terrible fires that devastated the region in early 2020. We make a stop at the Remarkable Rocks, to admire the unique rock formations and stunning ocean views.
The fun doesn’t stop on our Kangaroo Island Day Tour! Following the views of Remarkable Rocks, we make our way to Admirals Arch where you will come across New Zealand Fur Seals, watch flocks of sea birds swooping into the calm, blue waters. Follow the boardwalks to peer through the impressive arch for incredible views of the ocean.
Our final stop on our Kangaroo Island Day Tour is Penneshaw, where we will get the chance to take in the sights of this natural paradise for one last time, prior to hopping on the ferry back to Cape Jervis. From Cape Jervis, we will travel back to Adelaide, where our tour concludes!
Join us on our Kangaroo Island Day Tour as we experience breathtaking views, meet iconic Australian animals and enjoy the beauty of this enchanting island!
