Doing a bit of shopping, or browsing, in Melbourne is certainly a great way to pass time. You can go for some discounted stores at DFO South Wharf or check out Melbourne Central and the Emporium.

There are plenty of small boutique stores to see throughout the city, with some inside the Royal Arcade and the Nicholas Building.

Walk along the beach

It might not be on your to do list in May, as it can be pretty fresh in Melbourne this time of year.
