OVERVIEW OF THE TOUR
Join the fun by visiting the coastal town of Port Stephens on our Port Stephens day tour. Port Stephens is often referred to as Australia’s Blue Water Paradise. The area is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers as it is surrounded by golden beaches and has a diverse range of marine life.
To begin the day, you will travel over the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge, en route to the mid-north coast, with guided commentary along the way. Birubi Point is our first stop on our Port Stephens day tour. Birubi Point is located at the northern end of Stockton Beach. The Stockton Bright Sand Dunes is the largest sand dune system throughout Australia. The dunes stretch as high as 40 meters and cover 32km in distance. The landscape is very baron and dry, free of all vegetation. Sandboarding at high speed down enormous sand dunes and jumping on a 4WD are thrilling experiences you're sure to love on this tour.
After an exhilarating morning, we will embark on a dolphin watching cruise. You will have the opportunity to purchase lunch at your own expense, prior to boarding your dolphin watching cruise. There is also a cafe on board where you can purchase a beverage or snack to enjoy on the 1.5 hour boat ride. You're sure to see plenty of playful bottlenose dolphins that live in the region as they love to play near the boat!
Once we're back on land, you'll have free time to explore Nelson Bay. Here you can wander to various local shops, purchase a snack or souvenir or take in the atmosphere of the coastal area.
At the end of the day, you'll return to Sydney with fond memories of your adventurous day.
*Between the months of June to October, you can upgrade to a whale watching cruise in place of the dolphin cruise. You will have a chance to see the annual white whale migration for an upgrade of $34 per person.
