If you plan to go to Uluru, you may be planning to stay for the sunset. Or maybe you only planned to visit for the day and then return to your accommodation before it gets dark outside.

There are plenty of different ways to travel and different things to explore. However, we recommend catching the Uluru sunset and joining a tour.

Perks of an Uluru sunset tour

There is no doubt that Uluru is already an incredible landmark to view during the day. It is also a great place to view in the evening.

Here are a few reasons to join an Uluru sunset tour!

Gorgeous views

Uluru is already a stunning landmark, so when it is set against the backdrop of a colourful sky, it makes the experience all the more special.

Magical and peaceful experience

Regardless of the number of photos you view, you won’t understand the magic of the sunset until you are there yourself.

The towering monolith will appear to slightly change colours as the sun sets. The mesmerising experience is made even better by the peaceful desert atmosphere.

Champagne and dinner

An Uluru sunset tour will most likely include some sparkling wine and nibbles. The tour may even include a delicious dinner under the stars.

Bring the day to a close with friends, some refreshing champagne, and a bite to eat!

We offer two unforgettable Uluru sunset tours that are either a full-day or half-day adventure.

Our Uluru sacred sites and sunset tour is a great day trip if you have the whole day to explore. This tour departs in the early afternoon, giving you time to sleep in and explore a bit on your own. After we pick you up, you will get to embark on scenic hikes and view historic rock art before heading to our lookout spot to watch the sunset.

Sit back and relax with a glass of champagne and some nibbles as the sun makes its way towards the horizon. You can also choose to upgrade to a barbecue dinner to enjoy under the stars after sunset!

You can still enjoy an Uluru sunset tour if you have only the evening free! We will pick you up about an hour prior to sunset and make our way to the lookout. You’ll get a glass of champagne and snacks to nibble on as you watch the gorgeous sunset. You can also choose to upgrade your tour to enjoy a barbecue dinner underneath the starry desert sky.

Be sure to add an Uluru sunset to your bucket list – you won’t regret it!
