OVERVIEW OF THE TOUR
Indulge your love of wine with this one-day adventure throughout the stunning McLaren Vale. Climb aboard our luxury 20-seater bus and enjoy the scenic journey from the city centre, to the Adelaide Hills, to finally the spectacular McLaren Vale.
Your first stop on this adventure is at Chapel Hill Winery, a hundred-year-old Chapel converted into this stylish winery. The views are just as good as the wine here, where you can enjoy the wine tasting experience while marvelling at the old building, the art within, and the sprawling hilltop landscape surrounding it.
After this, we will head to the Main Street of McLaren Vale, where you will have some free time to roam around. Attractions here include more wine spots such as Hardy Tintara's Cellar door, sweet treat stops such as Aussie Fruchocs chocolate factory, as well as an endless number of cafes to pop into. No matter what kind of traveller you are, this street of goodies is sure to satisfy your hunger for good food!
Next stop is Shingleback Winery, where you can enjoy another wine tasting experience. If you are feeling a bit peckish, you can dig into the winery’s famous cheeseboard platter, with the hard and soft varieties matching perfectly with your wine!
Afterwards, we will take the scenic route back towards Adelaide, offering you astonishing views of the Adelaide coastline. Along the way, we will stop off at the seaside suburb of Glenelg. Here you can either take a quick stroll around the area before hopping back on board the bus to Adelaide or opt to finish the tour here. Those who choose to stay can spend the rest of their day at the beach and the seaside restaurants and shops dotted about, taking a quick 20-minute tram back to the city when you are ready.
